What a terrible picture! They are about 18 inches long each and I have them hanging in my kitchen. I looove them!
Also I have been wanting to dye eggs naturally for awhile now but finally got around to it this year. They didn't turn out as well as I would have liked but they still look much better then that boxed stuff!
Starting from the left I used old coffee, grape juice, and boiled frozen spinach, the spinach didn't come out theway I hoped it would. I think fresh would probably work a lot better. I mixed 2 tbsp. of vinegar in each jar and let them sit over night. Now the eggs developed this wierd waxy build up on the outside. I wiped it off of one of the eggs in the middle of it soaking and it turned out a lot better so I think I will do it to all of them next year.
See the dark purple one in the back? That is the one I wiped off. It turned out really nice...the other ones kind of splotchy, and the spinach ones are barely colored. I guess this is something I will just perfect over the years :) Hope you all had a great Easter!
I like the eggs, the blue is my favorite
