Very Basic Granola Recipe

Is a granola recipe crafty? Eh...whatever! I just like to make stuff and share so if you are looking for a tasty, basic, frugal, and easy granola recipe (holy adjectives Batman!) this is the one for you :)

Preheat oven to 300 degrees
Ingredients:
4 C oats (Rolled or quick oats can both be used.)
1 C wheat bran (You can use any other kind of grain you like here. You can also use all oats.)
3/4 C nuts
1/2 C vegetable oil
1/2 C honey (Tip: measure your oil first, then put your honey in the same measuring cup. It will pour right out!)
1/2 C firmly packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
In a bowl mix oil, honey, brown sugar, and vanilla.  Whisk together.  In a large bowl mix oats, wheat bran, nuts, and salt.  Add oil mixture and stir with a large spoon.  I usually use my hands at the end to make sure everything is coated evenly.  Spread oat mixture evenly on a large cookie sheet.  Place on middle rack of oven.
Bake at 10 minute intervals, stirring granola after each interval.  I end up doing 4 or 5 intervals.  Just make sure to bake until mixture is golden brown.  It will still be moist but after you let it cool completely it will get nice and crunchy.  After it is cooled, store in an air tight container.
